I love this song, but I don't like zombies on my lawn.
Today's track is Zombies on Your Lawn from Plants vs. Zombies (sang by Laura Shigihara)
While the game isn't going to be released until May 5th, it has caused a lot of commotion. The game is basically a tower defense game, though now you'll be controlling plants so you can protect the humans against some brain hungry Zombies.
And we all know how addiciting Pop-Cap games are, just look at Peggle. And sure this song is catchy and addicitng. Imagine if Pop-Cap creates a music label of their own.
You can check out http://www.popcap.com/games/pvz for some more info. You can also download the song and a Japanese version of it, for those Nippon-savy OLRmy members.
If you want to post your opinion about today's track or you've got a song suggestion you would like to see featured from a game let us know in the comments and we'll see what we can do about featuring it in an up coming article!
After an eventful week in studio (you can download the lost episode exclusively on our twitter or facebook), the cast of OLR returns this week to talk about the latest in gaming news. Is the PSP set to go download only with no UMDs? A new entry in a popular franchise might be an indication. Are they thinking of turning one popular Sony face into a movie? Well regardless, movies are about to hit Playstation Home when Star Trek outfits beam aboard. In Part B tonight, Braid for the PC carries a secret hidden bonus, and a Bionic Commando multi-player demo is on the horizon. Do we really need some of these Sega games about to come out on Xbox live arcade though, or should you just pick up Sonics Genesis collection? All this and much more including your calls on our skypeline, e-mails, chatroom antics and so much more on the show where EVERY gamer has a voice- Orange Lounge Radio!

Metroid Medley Composed by Hirokazu 'Hip' Tanaka
This week I decided to go with a relatively normal pick, instead of my usual off-the-wall selections. Though this one is particularly special, as it was part of an 'Arranged Cassette' that was released in Japan almost 20 years ago! One side featured three remixed tracks from Paltena's Mirror, better known as Kid Icarus here in the states. The other side featured three tracks from Tanaka's other work at the time, Metroid.
It starts off with the 'appearance' intro music, then plays the main 'Brinstar' theme before seamlessly transitioning into the 'Escape' theme that plays after you've destroyed the Mother Brain at the end of the game!
Please note due to copyright issues I can not make this song available for you to download directly.
Let's tap is a fun little rythm based mini game collection for the Wii created by Yuji Naka creator of Sonic the Hedgehog. Unlike most games however Let's Tap involves placing your controller face down on the box it comes with and tapping the edge of the box with your fingers!
