DarkSakura and myself were lucky to have a last minute opportunity to attend Video Games Live in Oakland this weekend!
Be sure to tune into tonight's episode, episode 315, to hear our full thoughts on the performance, including the debut of a new Chrono Trigger/Cross piece that Tommy Tallarico says is the "most requested song" in the years that Video Games Live has been in existence.
Also be sure to check our OLRmy picture feed for some pictures that Jamie took at the show-- she got to be in the front row!.
Dan is back in the house this week to offer some more colorful commentary. It looks like Dead Rising 2 is a sure thing, and the early concept sounds pretty awesome, even if our favorite character from Dead Rising is absent..... so far. We reminisce about our time at the Sony Metreon upon hearing that it is closing, and have a cry that FF13 might be pushed back EVEN MORE!
Street Fighter 4 mania sweeps part B of our show, but the news does not stop as we talk about an interesting advertising scheme involving cats! (We are sure that PETA would not approve). Also, could Sega re-registering some old trademarks be a good thing... or a bad thing?
Finally, some news about our old friends at Konami and the old saying "What goes around, comes around"... but should it really be coming around?
All this and more including your input from our live chatroom and phone calls on the show where EVERY gamer has a voice... Orange Lounge Radio!
Saw this earlier on game trailers and thought it was worth a look. It really shows the difference between early gen 360 games and mid gen Wii games. Some of the stuff missing is also good for a laugh.
