Hi, this act deft! And I'm also gonna be posting along with deekman some of our favorite video games tracks in this new section called...
I <3 that song!
Well, this is gonna be a bi-weekly section with deekman on Mondays and yours truly on Fridays.
Well today I'm going to post something that will probably bring some pretty good memories to old fans of OLR!
Today's track is 1998 by Naoki from DDR Extreme (AC)
DDR is a classic among music game players, like most of here in OLR. Extreme is one the best mixes out there and it features a ton of pretty awesome songs. But the one that strikes me the most is 1998 which commemorates the creation of DDR with a high pumping energetic song. It really captures DDR at it's best.
Hey, you want to suggest a song to be featured on future weeks, we welcome you to do so on the comments! You can also comment about today's pick!
Bresslol is here to tell it like it is in the world of gaming in a new segment called Bresslol Bitches. The first thing I get to complain about - unreliable consoles.
I've been gaming since 1986, and EVERY single console I have owned has worked perfectly for me, even the PS2 I bought when it launched in 1999, even though I switched to the slim model in 2005. My N64, which I have had for 12 years, still works. My SNES is 17 years old, and still works perfectly. Hell, my NES, albeit being at my parents house, is TWENTY years old and still works.
The full version of Dance Dance Revolution S has just been released on iTunes for $6.99!
Only played the demo but it was kinda fun for a small time waster. I almost feel like the price might be set $3 too high though to hit the main stream casual market but we'll have to wait and see.
